The house in the first four images is in a classic Nash terrace - except that a previous owner had built a modernist square glass extension to the rear of the property. Our brief was to break up the long narrow shape of the garden and to produce a modern landscaping scheme softened by scented plants - hence the lavender hedging, climbing roses & the confederate jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) on the trellis.
The final image shows a modernist planting scheme using silver-leafed Astelia chathamica against an architectural backdrop of bespoke fencing.
